Admiral William Penn sends an order to Benjamin Franklin to erect a National Guard Fort at Penn’s Landing along the Delaware River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

It was the Founder of the State of Pennsylvania that sent a Messenger to the Newspaper Man that went on to establish the Postage Stamp and the first United States Post Office as the Official Treasury Department of the New Country.

Benjamin Franklin and other Merchants soon put in place a Fire Department and then a Police Department with the consent of the Founders Son, William Penn Junior who would manage the City of Philadelphia his whole life.

Some 300 hundred years later I feel like I’m doing the samething here 3,000 miles away in another US Territory, Seattle, Washington and all I can do is cooperate with the citizens as best I can.
